AOD Contracts were appointed as Main Contractor to undertake a complete strip out of previously installed shop fittings, storage etc by the outgoing tenant following the end lease agreement.
The building is listed and the strip out works were carried out whilst ensuring full compliance with Building Regulations and Building Consent. Due to historic damage and movement we worked closely with the structural engineer to install new structural steelwork. This was to prevent any further bowing and damage to the listed building.
The works carried out comprised of isolation and removal of all existing l lighting, power including the stripping of all wires back to the main distribution board, making safe and data cables, security and air conditioning units previously installed by the outgoing tenants.
All electrical works have been carried out by our fully qualified electrician with NICEI test certificates provided to the client.
All previously installed, plasterboard, studwork, all bathrooms, w.c.’s, and flooring removed and disposed of, to provide a bare shell for the new incoming tenants
A full redecoration of the office and kitchen areas on the first floor level have been carried out ready for the new incoming tenant.
Both client and contract administrator are very satisfied with the manner in which works have been undertaken and within the time limits imposed and more importantly on budget
