AOD Contracts were appointed as Main Contractor to carry out full redecoration of the communal areas for this five storey building in Bays water.
The existing lathe and plaster had to be removed from all walls and re-plastered fully ensuring that residents were not disturbed or disrupted on their daily business.
Full redecoration to all communal areas was specified using the Crown Timonox Paint System.
Customised hand built tongue and groove panelling to the ground floor entrance hall was expertly fitted including the design of the letter/post-boxes. Dado rail was installed to entire staircase, and beading applied to each flat door to create a panel effect to mirror the ground floor entrance hall.
The existing ground floor surface was removed and new Victorian chequer style tiles were fitted to continue the effect from the entrance steps.
Working closely with the Contract Administrator, we were able to implement our designs for the panelling, beading to flat entrance doors and the post box and enabled this property to be upgraded to a high class finish which befits this prestigious building.
